You don’t have to be techy genius Bill Gates to make a fortune on the internet.
This week it was revealed a family from Buckinghamshire netted a six-figure sum after millions of people watched one of their home movies on YouTube.
Forget making £250 from TV’s You’ve Been Framed – they earned £100,000 from a 58-second clip entitled “Charlie bit my finger – again!”.
It showed the moment one-year-old Charlie Davies-Carr sank his teeth into the finger of his unwary big brother Harry.
The film of giggling Charlie – and the outraged reaction of three-year-old Harry – was posted on YouTube in 2007 for friends and family to enjoy but it has now been watched 368 million times.
